Cialis is a new drug from Lilly ICOS for treating male impotence. Comparing to Viagra, Cialis' effect lasts much longer - up to 48 hours. Cialis also works faster and has fewer side effects.

Uses

Cialis is an ED drug commonly used to help men facing erectile dysfunction (ED). Cialis have become known as "super Viagra" or "the weekend pill" due to its remaining in the body for such an extensive time period. Taking Cialis will encourage the body's ability to achieve an erection for up to 32 hours. Generic Cialis can also encourage a more impulsive or natural sex life.

How to take

Cialis should be taken orally 20 minutes before sexual activity as directed by your doctor. Take this medicine one time every three 3 days. You will still need to be sexually aroused to achieve an erection with Cialis. The usual recommended doze is 10mg (half a pill).

Side effects

Most Cialis users do not experience side effects. However side effects are possible. The side effects associated with Cialis are nasal stuffiness, flushing, headache, dizziness, stomach upset, diarrhea. Inform your doctor if these effects persist.

Precaution

Do not start this medicine without doctor approval. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions including penis problem such as scarring or fibrosis, painful or prolonged erection (priapism), kidney problems, liver disease, bleeding disorders or active stomach ulcers, blood cell problems (such as sickle cell anemia, myeloma or leukemia), Peyronie's disease, uncontrolled high or low blood pressure, heart diseases, eye problems (retina diseases) or allergies. Alcohol may increase your risk for side effect of Cialis. To minimize dizziness and lightheadedness sit up or stand slowly when rising from a lying or seated position. Caution is advised when using Cialis in elderly because they may be more sensitive to the side effects of this drug.

Drug interactions

Some medicines may interact with Cialis. Inform your doctor if you are also taking or using any form of nitroglycerin, other nitrates such as isosorbide, nitroprusside or any "nitric oxide donor" medicine, certain antifungals such as itraconazole or ketoconazole; clarithromycin or erythromycin, cimetidine, rifamycins (e.g., rifampin) or medicine for high blood pressure.

Storage

The allergic reactions that come with Cialis include hives, swelling (lips, tongue, mouth, throat) and breathing difficulty.

While using Cialis, you may also come across serious side effects including sudden vision and hearing loss, ringing in ears, chest pain, pain spreading to arms or shoulders, sweating, ill feeling, nausea, irregular heartbeat and seizures. If you find any of these side effects, stop Cialis and consult the doctor.

Store this medicine at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light and heat. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
